Fractions Exercises (Post #2)
Hi all!
This week I decided to dig for some fun resources for a fractions lesson.
I believe fractions can be a bit intimidating to many students, so I think the sooner we expose them to the "big scary" problems the better!
Here is a video from Math Antics with a clear break down and explanation of fractions. I think my favorite section in this video is the explanation that fractions can be used toward any object, even animals! It is easy for a student to feel intimidated to find answers once the objects used to describe a fraction have changed around.
Along with this video, here are some worksheets which can be used as quizzes, homework or as in classroom assignments.
